The location
Trysilfjell
Trysil sits in eastern Norway, two hours north of Oslo and a comfortable drive from Stockholm or Copenhagen. Trysilfjellet — the mountain at its centre — is Norway’s largest alpine resort, with sixty-six pistes, seven mountain restaurants and lifts that climb to 1,132 metres.
In summer it becomes one of the country’s best mountain biking destinations, with marked trails for every level and easy access to the river and the surrounding fells.
Our chalet is in Trysilfjell Hytteområde, the closest cabin area to the slopes — you can walk out the door, and be on the lift within minutes.
